Health Coaching

Health coaching is a personalised, collaborative process where the client takes the lead. It is an open exploration of thoughts, ideas and goals, utilising powerful questioning, reflection, and discussion to help clients discover their own solutions to address health and lifestyle concerns.

“Health and wellbeing coaches support people to increase their ability to self-manage, motivation levels, and commitment to change their lifestyle. They are experts in behavior change and focus on improving health-related outcomes by working with people to set personalized goals and change their behaviors. They work with people with physical and/ or mental health conditions and those at risk of developing them. Health and wellbeing coaches can be an effective intervention for people experiencing a range of long-term conditions, including respiratory, cardiovascular (including type 2 diabetes and hypertension), and stress/low mood. They can also support people with weight management, diet, and increasing activity levels.” - NHS England

What areas of health coaching do you work with?

I work with clients who are trying to conceive, offering support, encouragement, and guidance at any stage of their fertility journey—whether through natural conception or IVF cycles. Many clients are looking to address roadblocks, anxieties and feelings of overwhelm, build resilience, or improve their general health, all of which are common challenges during the fertility experience. My focus is to help people clarify their goals and develop their own solutions by creating actionable, sustainable steps that overcome barriers and build confidence. Sessions include element of mentoring, offering guidance in areas such as: nutrition, pre-conceptual health, understanding any aspects of a fertility diagnosis, stress management and emotional wellbeing, and how to approach trying to conceive naturally, if appropriate.

In addition, I support people who would like to prioritise any area of their life that they feel is out of balance—calibrating work-life spaces, addressing burnout, and sleep, or a chronic health condition. I integrate evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle medicine at the core of my practice. The aim is not only to achieve a specific goal, but to foster lasting, overall health and wellbeing.

What can I expect during health coaching sessions?

Health coaching is offered in packages, rather than single sessions. To find out if Health Coaching is right for you, I offer a 30 minute no-obligation exploratory call, please contact me here to arrange a call. The different packages descriptions can be found on the Book Your Appointment page.

Before the initial consultation, you will be asked to complete a comprehensive pre- consultation form, which includes questions about your health and medical history and lifestyle, as well as a food diary. This background information helps me identify the specific areas you want us focus on during our session.

After the session you will receive a summary email, with recommendations, resources, and the agreed goals action plan. All appointments are conducted via Zoom/video call.
